Business Visa — Full Document Checklist

Applications lodged through the Embassy of the Arab Republic of Egypt in Islamabad on a business profile are assessed against a heavier list than the standard tourist e-visa. This is the checklist our consultants work to:

  • Original passport with a minimum of 6 months validity
  • 4 photographs, 2×2 size, white background, taken within the last 6 months
  • Copy of CNIC
  • Bank statement for the last 6 months with a closing balance of at least PKR 1 million, together with an account maintenance certificate issued by the bank
  • NTN certificate
  • Two covering letters on your business letterhead, stamped
  • Chamber of Commerce or trade body membership certificate
  • Tax return
  • Itinerary / flight booking
  • Hotel booking
  • Polio vaccination certificate (IPV), issued by a Government hospital or clinic
  • Dengue report covering IgG, IgM and NS1
  • The inviting party must send an intimation of the invitation directly to the Egyptian Embassy in Islamabad

Processing Time

E-visa applications are typically processed in 2–5 business days. Apply at least seven days before travel and carry a printed copy of the approved e-visa. Embassy business applications take longer and depend on the invitation reaching the mission.
